(Un)scripted Terms & Conditions

Welcome to (Un)scripted. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Chameleonne GmbH, registered in Germany under HRB 249025 B with registered office at â„… Villa Klassik GmbH, Knesebeckstraße 30, 10623 Berlin. (“we,” “our,” “us”).

By creating an account or using (Un)scripted, you agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

 

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental consent if you are 13–15 years old, to use the app in the EU.

  • You are responsible for complying with local laws in your country.

 

2. Your Account

  • Keep your login credentials secure.

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
     

 

3. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of all content you post.

  • By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share it within the app and in promotional materials, for as long as your content remains on our platform.

  • You must have the necessary rights to any content you post and ensure it doesn’t infringe the rights of others.

 

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Break our Community Guidelines.

  • Post illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.

  • Harass or threaten others.

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the app.

 

5. Removal of Content

We may remove any content that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
We comply with German and EU notice-and-takedown procedures for unlawful content.

 

6. Consumer Rights & Withdrawal

If you register as a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days of sign-up without giving any reason. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at support@unscripted.style.
Please note: if you use the app’s services before the withdrawal period ends, you agree that we may begin providing the service immediately and you may lose your right to withdraw once the service is fully performed.

 

7. Liability

We are liable for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body, or health caused by negligence.
In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual duties (Kardinalpflichten).
Liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract.

 

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
If you are a consumer, mandatory provisions of the law in your country of residence still apply.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

We do not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
However, EU consumers can use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
